What is a charitable gift annuity?

A Charitable Gift Annuity is a contract between a donor and The Pi Fund, whereby the donor transfers cash or property to the Fund in exchange for a partial tax deduction and a lifetime stream of annual income from the charity. When the donor dies, the Fund keeps the gift, which can then be designated for one or more other charitable organizations.

The amount of the income stream is determined by many factors including the donor’s age and the policy of the charity. For more information on establishing a Charitable Gift Annuity, please¬†contact us¬†(link to the Contact Us Section).
